
PASTOR DERRICK A. WILLIAMS
“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ; till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ”. (Ephesians 4:11-13)
Pastor Williams is a native of Louisiana and a graduate of Southern University, Baton Rouge Louisiana. He holds a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering. Reverend Williams has lived and served within the Orlando community for more than four decades. He recently retired from a local engineering firm as a Senior Engineering Manager, where he worked for more than thirty-eight years. He is also a graduate of the International Seminary, Plymouth, FL and the E. K. Bailey Expository Preaching of Dallas, Texas.
Reverend Williams has been an active member of Shiloh since 1980. Over the years at Shiloh, he has served as President of Brotherhood, Sunday School and Bible Study Teacher, and Minister of Shiloh Witness Force for Christ Evangelistic Ministry. In 1988, he was ordained as Servant-Deacon of Shiloh Baptist Church and in 1992 appointed as Chairman of the Deacon’s Ministry where he served for over 18 years. In 2005, Minister Williams accepted God’s call to preach the gospel and served as Minister of Edification (role of Assistant Pastor) at Shiloh. Reverend Williams’s Minister of Edification role was expanded June 5, 2009 when he was appointed Worship Leader and overseer of the Shiloh congregation. He was ordained July 5, 2009 while serving in this capacity which lasted three (3) years. Again July 16, 2012, Rev. Williams’ territory was expanded. He was called to serve as Senior Pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church of Orlando. As he walks the path that God has set for him, he is given the energy, drive and compassion to serve God faithfully and effectively by leading and feeding His sheep.

God has wonderfully gifted, equipped, and positioned his ministry to serve families within the metropolitan Orlando area. Under his leadership, ministries has been strengthened and new ministries have been established to lead in the 21st century. His unwavering commitment and service to God’s people has brought continued spiritual growth, and God has truly shown His grace and favor within the church congregation and community.
He is married to his high school sweetheart. They are blessed with two wonderful children, a daughter-in-love, a son-in-love and two grandchildren.
